Chokoloskee Island Sanitary Sewer Forcemain Expansions reflect RDA Consulting Engineers, LLC’s ongoing commitment to supporting coastal communities through thoughtful infrastructure solutions. RDA has worked closely with multiple homeowners on Chokoloskee Island to design, permit, and support construction of sanitary sewer forcemain extensions that improve service reliability and long term functionality.
As of the first quarter of 2026, RDA has designed and permitted more than 1,900 linear feet of sanitary sewer forcemain across five separate projects on the island. Our team guided homeowners through cost effective connection strategies while addressing the unique logistical and regulatory challenges associated with infrastructure improvements in a sensitive coastal environment.
RDA managed the full permitting process, coordinating approvals with the City of Everglades Utilities and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Services also included construction phase assistance and closeout support to facilitate City of Everglades Council acceptance of the completed infrastructure for public ownership and ongoing maintenance. These projects demonstrate RDA’s ability to navigate complex utility permitting while delivering practical solutions tailored to community needs.
